Our History.
It all began with an idea to see the Greater Derry Community have joyous family holidays together, no matter their economic status. Created in 2007 under the name Derry Community Fund, the board went on to help hundreds of families during Thanksgiving and Christmas. They took a break in 2023 and numerous local non-profits stepped up to provide support.
In 2025, a new board was voted in with a renewed passion to help the community. Under their leadership, the name was changed to Derry Holiday Assistance to provide a clearer understanding on what the board is aiming to accomplish. Help families experience the joys of holidays together.
